So, we are officially home from our trip! So as to not leave out anything I will go back and update what things we got to do, places we got to go etc. for the 6 days we spent in Trinidad & Tobago.
So, the day we arrived in Trinidad the Dinoo family was there to greet us again! It was very exciting to get to see our buddies and discuss all the different experiences we had in Guyana. It was especially enjoyable as Susanna Dinoo and Camille Dinoo have served in Guyana a couple of times, so they knew exactly what it was like. Also, their parents Season and Lolita Dinoo who live in Guyana were visiting for the zone visit so we got to converse with them as well!
We arrived on Friday in Trinidad and we had some big plans for the weekend. We had hoped to go to the famous Maracas Beach on Saturday but, if it rained we were not going to be able to as they can have very dangerous mudslides up in the mountains. Thankfully it didn't rain!!! : )
So we took the long drive up the breathtaking mountains and stopped several times to take pictures. It was unbelievably beautiful! Unfortunately, we had some camera issues so the pictures don't even come close to displaying the true beauty of Jehovah's creation.
